Cinema Paradiso, Interior

The Cinema Paradiso in Wanaka is one of those unique places that make you wish every picture house was the same. Ramshackle and comfortable, chill to a movie with a beer or your dinner on your lap and surrounded by a crowd of friendly locals who just show up to hang. I saw Heath Ledger's last film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnasus here and cant think of a better venue to enjoy Terry Gilliam, like a set from Brazil with air conditioning duct strung everywhere, superb! )
